Purpose

I worked with Pursuit Collection, a hospitality service company, to expand their leadership training program by designing curriculum and presentation materials for a 2-day Manager Level workshop. This experience cultivates self-management and foundational manager skills for those new to management roles. The course content focuses on managing tasks, delegating, motivating, team building, communicating, problem solving and resolving conflict. This program will be the second tier in a 5-level leadership program, which aims to strengthen leaders' capabilities, promote employee engagement, and align team efforts with the organization’s goals, ultimately contributing to company growth and excellence.

It truly was a pleasure for our team to partner with Heather to design and build out the Manager level of our internal leadership development program. From the beginning of the project, Heather was thoughtful and took the time to understand our organization’s culture, leadership philosophy, and program goals before shaping the design.

Her expertise in instructional design and adult learning translated into engaging, relevant, and applicable content that truly resonated with our leaders. We particularly appreciated the level of detail she put into an easy-to-follow facilitator guide, and we were able to see the difference this made when we launched the inaugural cohort in the spring of this year.

Heather did such a nice job of balancing structure, interactive learning experiences, practical tools, and real-world scenarios that strengthened the program’s impact. Throughout the project, Heather was collaborative, responsive, and exceptionally professional. She was a true partner and we would absolutely work with Heather again in the future should the opportunity present itself.
